How was turn-out in our precinct? 36 YATES BAPTIST CHURCH has 2,460 registered voters. 895 voted on May 6 and 247 voted early, giving us a total turn-out of 46.42% That is more than double the 21.5 % turn-out we had a year ago in the School Board and Judicial Primary. But compared to all 56 precincts, we dropped to 40th, so we have plenty of room for improvement by November. Five precincts had over 60% turnout, and 21 had between 50-59%. Durham County had the highest turn-out of any area in the state! Full election results are at the Durham County Board of Elections Website. | ||
